About Our Company CYDI Industries, Galley Cool's parent company is owned and founded by Teo Leonard.  Teo has been boating and lived on the water for over half his life.  His background is marine related business and he is an Electrical and Computer Engineer from Purdue University.  History He recently owned, invented and built up a large floating driveon dock business and after leaving that business in 2007, he came up with the Galley Cool refrigeration system for one of his personal boats.  He has a simple Catalina30 that is used for mostly weekending and some overnighting on Tampa Bay.  Teo got frustrated with his 10 year old compressor system not functioning and leaking hazardous stuff so he began researching Thermoelectric semiconductor devices as a cooling source.  The result is a very economical, easy to install boating refrigeration system for boats with an existing ice chest or refrigeration that is no longer working properly of if you are worries about damaging the environment with your older compressor system. Future Goals We have several products and ideas in the works.  With the refrigeration now working and in production, we will be focusing on new products.  We have several things in the works for boating.  We are focusing on Green solutions - we really treasure the environment and want our kids and grandkids to be able to enjoy sailing the oceans as much as we do.
